Aesop Rock
by Pensive
(Omaha, Nebraska, USA)
Aesop Rock is truly the single most innovative Hiphop artist to hit the music scene in years. He has been urging his listeners to break free from modern day slavery. He is VASTLY misunderstood due to his immaculate word structure, and seemingly ever expansive vocabulary. He speaks on topics like organized religion, television, art, and the culture of underground hiphop.
He is rich in his ability to paint pictures with his words. He speaks his message in a very respectful, yet stern and defined manner.
Aesop Rock is the most versatile and determined musician in this genre of music, and resides with the freshest label in hiphop "Def Jux".
If you have not heard this man speak, I suggest you dive in head first!
