Animal Collective

The Band "Animal Collective"
Well, I don't know much about them personally...and i would hope i never do..but they have really good music.
They remind me of battles, hmmm, and they're really poppy sounding. Yes they're one of those "does not sing on every song but it is still very interesting" type bands. In fact, I very much enjoy it when bands don't sing or even have a vocalist. Sometimes music just needs to be music without that vocal story getting in the way. The musical story just seems so much better...but back to the point.
These guys are good, and they have grown bigger in the music world so if that makes you feel any better then..yea..?
Andrew Says: It's funny that you mention the Animal Collective right now, as both my Bass player and my Drummer have been really getting into them lately.
I guess it's time I get off my butt and start listening to them!

Wow! I'm actually so impressed with this...really. I just got through the first 2 tracks on "Merriwhether Post Pavilion", and it's really good.
Gorillaz is a super classic band, and for a good reason. With some of the best combinations of electronic music, featuring artists from Mos Def, to MF Doom, it's a really incredible band.
Their newest album, "The Fall", was even recording entirely on an iPad! I highly recommend they become an integral part to your music library, and I've been listening to them for the last month straight (Religiously).
