Biphasic Sleep For Musicians Day 20

Today is the last day that I'll be doing the biphasic sleep schedule. It's been quite a heck of a ride so far, but I find that waking up in the morning is just too dang tiring to feel that it's going well.

If you want to take marketing your music to another level, then I can't recommend enough John Oszajca's music marketing manifesto. My favorite aspect of his complete program was his stance on email marketing, where he really leverages the that "1000 true fans" philosophy.

His website is a bit hokey (Flaming guitars? Seriously?), but his program really shows independant artists how to get a leg-up on signed artists.

I would have at least hoped for some more adjustment by now, but it's really just very tiring. Because I've been doing this for 20 days, I have no reason to believe it will get any better, hence why I'm deciding not to continue on with it.

  • 8:25am -I woke up today very tired, but I'm sure I'll wake up fairly quickly once I get a chance to wake up and whatnot.
  • 12pm - Starting to feel a bit drowsy and wanting to sleep. Going for a bike ride to wake up.
  • 2:40pm - I've been doing pretty well, but I started to get drowsy so I decided to take a nap right now.
  • 4:20pm - I woke craving more sleep, but one does seem to need more sleep always when they are deprived of it.

The rest of the day was fairly awake, though I still felt like there was film, or veil between me and the world over most of what I did. By midnight I was very tired and the last 2 hours of my day were not enjoyable.

About The Writer

My name is Andrew Muller. I love creative art, music, television shows, movies, video games, and a good story.

If you had to find me somewhere, you would probably find me down at O'neils home cooking eating an organic sweet-potato bun breakfast sandwich with ham.

Among my friends, it's a "Muller Classic Move" to eat Mcdonald's at 2am because it's cheap and open 24/7. The joke here is that I'm an idiot.

I play drums, guitar, piano, and I write & perform music for My Goal Is Telepathy. Take a listen to the latest sound here.
