Gorillaz' Demon Days and Beck's Modern Guilt. Now in Broken Bells he finally uses his birth name and shows to even the most oblivious that he can tailor his sound to work with all manner of musicians, while remaining still himself.
Never overshadowing his collaborators he instead seems to want to make them more of themselves. Like a chef who knows the right side dishes and spices to make the main course that much better.
James Blake is an Experimental Electronic artist from London. He was originally a producer, and a lot of his early EP's consist of only sampled vocals (Never his own voice).
