Cage The Elephant
Have you ever the phrase, Rock and Roll is Dead? Well with the introduction of "Cage the Elephant" (refereed to as Cage), Rock and Roll will never again be dead.
Mathew Shultz - Vocals
Brad Shultz - Rhythm Guitar
Lincoln Parish - Lead Guitar
Daniel Tichenor - Bass, Backing Vocals
Jared Champion - Drums & Percussion
Cage, is like a swift kick in the nuts, with hard hitting guitar riffs, cymbal smashing drum lines and vocals that will drop you on your head. Cage is unlike any other band I've heard before, its like a mix between Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Queens of the Stone Age and The Doors. I know sounds insane right? It's hard to explain the style of Cage, without actually hearing it.
To date Cage only has their self-titled album, but is it ever one hell of an album. Released in 2008, the album gained notably success and good reviews around. Now here's the fun part. You ever seen the trailer for the video game "Borderlands?" You know that song you hear, that has the catchy line? That's Cage the Elephant! For those of you have still have yet to hear anything by them, get on Youtube and search it, immediately after finishing this article.

I would say your facetious description is actually partially accurate.
You can check out their song "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" Below.
Gorillaz is a super classic band, and for a good reason. With some of the best combinations of electronic music, featuring artists from Mos Def, to MF Doom, it's a really incredible band.
Their newest album, "The Fall", was even recording entirely on an iPad! I highly recommend they become an integral part to your music library, and I've been listening to them for the last month straight (Religiously).
