Coheed and Cambria
by Karen Fanghanel
(Mexico City, Mexico)
It comes to my mind that if they aren't here already they might not be your style, but since they are one of my personal favorite bands I thought I'd give a shout out to them here.
They sound like a mix of neo-punk meets Led Zeppelin meets progressive rock. Their songs are based on a comic book written by the bands own Claudio Sanchez (lead guitar, lead singer) about a sci-fi story featuring Coheed,Cambria and their son Claudio among others as the main characters.
They are hitting the road with Porcupine Tree and The Dear Hunter on August.
So if you haven't already make sure to check them out thoroughly cause I bet you can find a bunch of songs you'll like within their repertoire.
