Ever Forthright
by Dylan Fau
(New Jersey)
Okay, so the best way I can describe these guys without having you listen to them is Animals as Leaders with vocals. The main reason for this association is their use of Eight String guitars.
The band has two, but also has bass, keyboard, drums and vocals. Their vocalist, Chris Barretto, being the original vocalist of Periphery may also catch your attention.
Also, he plays Saxophone during the instrumental portions of their songs. They have a huge Jazz influence which blends wonderfully with their style of Djent metal.
They have that big, progressive, Between the Buried and Me composition style that allows them to bring all their influence together. They just recently released their Self Titled debut and are definitely worth a listen. Just, listen...

I really like this Dylan! It blows me again time and again when fans and visitors bring me new awesome music to listen to.
Ever Forthright has some decent vibes, and awesome guitar riffs. I feel that they still have some maturity to develop as musicians, and that their music still is lacking some depth. But overall the riffs are interesting and enjoyable (pretty carnal actually), and I can see some wicked potential coming from these guys.
