My Experience:
So far, the only album I have really gotten into from Grizzly Bear, is "Veckitamest", which I consider to be one of the greatest albums of 2009.
For some reason, they just have this really amazing, purposely Unproduced sounding album. It's not that the album isn't produced, but it's mixed and engineered in a way that makes it sound like it is from the 70's.
My drummer, Jet, first introduced me to these guys when he saw them in concert. He said the concert was incredible.
Of course, that was before I was big into them (Otherwise I would have grabbed some tickets for that concert as soon as I could have), but there is always a next time.
Until then, listening to Grizzly bear is a must.
Noticeable Traits:
Very light sound
Unproduced Sound
All of them sing, and they are all incredibly strong singers
Distorted bass in a light, clean song?
Ed Droste is Gay (I'm not sure why I thought I needed to mention that, but he said so in a few interviews so I thought I would include it).
Deep Sea Diver Don't Ask Alligator Campfire Shift Disappearing Act Fix It Merge A Good Place Showcase La Duchess Anne Eavesdropping Service Bell This Song

Gorillaz is a super classic band, and for a good reason. With some of the best combinations of electronic music, featuring artists from Mos Def, to MF Doom, it's a really incredible band.
Their newest album, "The Fall", was even recording entirely on an iPad! I highly recommend they become an integral part to your music library, and I've been listening to them for the last month straight (Religiously).
