Heavy Metal Band Edge Of Paradise opened for Kamelot

Edge of Paradise live at the Majestic Ventura Theater was a great night for the band and the hungry metal fans. Edge Of Paradise is an upcoming heavy metal band with industrial and symphonic edge. Fronted by the absolutely stunning Margarita Monet who captivated the place the moment she stepped on that stage.

Now don't be fooled by the angelic personality and beauty, the singer's power and intensity will grab you by the necks and won't let go till your heads are blown off with her unearthly vocal range, hitting the notes most singer's wouldn't dare to attempt.

Edge Of Paradise opened with their classic heavy metal songs "Thrown It All Away" and industrial edged "Falling Down" off the album "Mask". It was amazing to see that the band, almost had a magnetic pull, all eyes were set on Paradise.

Next they did a tribute to Black Sabbath with "Children Of The Sea" and "Heaven And Hell". I still get chills thinking about it. Margarita's voice filled the space as though Ronnie James Dio himself, was feeding her the power. She lived every word and every note of those songs. What a great way to pay tribute to the metal king!

The band finished off with gutsy "Tail Of The Gun" and "Walk The Line" as Margarita announced "Love song, Edge Of Paradise style".

Now besides the band's phenomenal front woman, I want to recognize Dave Bates. Dave is the epitome of sheer effortless virtuosity , this guy will make all guitar players, either Idolize or hate him, as there are very few guitarists on this earth that can shred like Mr.Bates. Such precision, such feel, tasty licks, ripping solos every note was meant to be exactly where it was. I can honestly say that I've seen the best guitarists and he is one of the very best, period.

The bassist Kurt Sheaffer and drummer Sivan Carmi were a solid rhythm section, keeping the groove.

I also want to mention that the band can not only put on a show, but they are great songwriters as well, with memorable hooks and huge chorusses, I'm humming nee of the songs write now, which is rare as i see many new bands and don't remember much of the songs.

I was a little upset as Margarita announced that they will not be doing their upcoming single "In A Dream", I am looking forward to hearing the full song.
In collusion, I think this band is on their way to the big stages, they are bound to break through and I am saying this without a doubt.
