John Mayer Trio John Mayer Trio

John Mayer

My Genre: Blues What's this?

iTunes Genre: Rock

Who's in the band?

-John Mayer on [Guitar],and [Vocals].

-Pino Palladino on [Bass].

-Steve Jordan on [Drums] and [Backing Vocals].

My Experience:

I checked out the John Mayer Trio after I already was a fan of John Mayer

I think that the John Mayer Trio's Set list is often far superior to John Mayer's Solo Project, even though they both have Pino Palladino [Bass] and Steve Jordan [Drums].

It's just my opinion, I just like this band better. Even when they do the same songs, there is something...unleashed about the John Mayer Trio.

Noticeable Traits:

  • Excellent Bass lines and Tone
  • Great On Stage
  • Great Guitar Tone
  • Insightful, Yet Easily Understandable, Lyrics
  • Bringing back the Stevie Ray Vaughan Stlye Blues
  • Gets Stuck in Your Head

Featured Band:

Gorillaz

Gorillaz is a super classic band, and for a good reason. With some of the best combinations of electronic music, featuring artists from Mos Def, to MF Doom, it's a really incredible band.

Their newest album, "The Fall", was even recording entirely on an iPad! I highly recommend they become an integral part to your music library, and I've been listening to them for the last month straight (Religiously).
