Karnivool
Who's in the band? -Mark Hosking on [Guitar]. -Ian Kenny on [Vocals]. -Jon Stockman on [Bass]. -Steve Judd on [Drums]. My Experience: The first song I ever listened to by Karnivool was "The Caudal Lure" from the album Sound Awake. The warm sound of the complicated drum beats was enticing. What was even more attractive though was the simple sound of the band. It's something that is great to listen to if you feel in a...serious mood. Not as serious as Tool, but definitely with a certain amount of eeriness to it. It was my Australian Drummer, Jet Crossley, who first showed them to me (Remember they are an Australian band). The heavy metal of "Scarabs" to the emotion driven "Change" makes Karnivool in both of our tops band lists. Take a listen.
