The first, and my favorite, album that I have heard from Maudlin of the Well is "Bath".
Just the simple diversity of the album, ranging from the subtle and wonderfully calming audio aroma's in The Ferryman, followed by the deep and powerful metal to come after makes the band worthwhile all in itself.
Toby Driver (Vocals and Guitar) says that they write a lot of their music using Astral Projection. In a sense, they explore Lucid dreams, and find their music, rather than writing it. When they pull the music back from the Astral plane, they then play it.
Sounds pretty crazy huh?
But wicked cool in my opinion. I don't know if anyone else finds that as cool as I do, but you'd better start!

Gorillaz is a super classic band, and for a good reason. With some of the best combinations of electronic music, featuring artists from Mos Def, to MF Doom, it's a really incredible band.
Their newest album, "The Fall", was even recording entirely on an iPad! I highly recommend they become an integral part to your music library, and I've been listening to them for the last month straight (Religiously).
