Meshuggah
Who's in the band? -Fredrik Thordendal on [Guitar] and [Backing Vocals]. -Tomas Haake on [Drums]. -Mårten Hagström on [Guitar] and [Vocals]. -Dick Lövgren on [Bass]. My Experience: So Meshuggah is pretty much the most influential metal band to ever exist. Their use of progressive, technical, and just plain heavy elements, along with crazy time signatures and face ripping vocals are only a small part of their genius. Ever seen a 4/4 Drum beat mixed over top of a 25/16 Guitar part? Do you even understand what that means? That's Meshuggah for you. If you love heavy, then Meshuggah is for you. If not, then...well press the back button on your browser because this page is definitely not for you. I know Meshuggah has definitely influenced some of the music my band writes, and I know that almost any metal band that exists would credit some sort of inspiration to them. So that means you should at least listen to them. Do it.
