Metal Songs You Need To Hear! (Part 3)

by Daniel
(Pheonix, Arizona, USA)

Matthew Is The Best Actor Ever!

Matthew Is The Best Actor Ever!

This is just a few of the metal songs that I think everyone should hear before they die.

#7: Tempting Time - Animals As Leaders

This band is super cool. They actually recorded all the drums on this album just with MIDI (they didn't have a drummer at the time).

Basically, this song is just insanely fast guitar, but still with style and jazz elements.

It definitely isn't the whole blastbeats-in-your-face type of song at all.

#8: Wailing Wintry Wind - Baroness

Wailing Wintry Wind is more atmospheric than anything. It really does sound like the title of the song. But it is the song that turned me on to Baroness, and I think it's worth a listen for anyone.

It's also notable that this band uses a very neat customer tuning.

#9: Desert Of Song - Between The Buried And Me

This is my favorite country song of all time.

"...wait a second", you reply to me. "Did you just say country?"

That is correct, I did just say country. BTBAM did a country song (An original), and it is spectacular.

If there was more country songs like this (And none of that awful pop-country-shania-twain-takes-a-dump-in-your-mouth crap) then I think the whole world would be a better place (And I might actually like country).
