My Experience:
My friend Michael Schellenberg first referred me to Muse, and after he lent me "Black Holes and Revelations" I became hooked.
I won't lie, they were my favorite band for a good year of my life. I just had such a massive love for Matthew Bellamy's Falcetto voice, and I just couldn't comprehend his writing to be so...perfect.
Of course, all good things come to an end, and the "Favorite Band Title" became switched with The Mars Volta.
But Muse, you had a good run in my mind.
Although I think they might be selling out a bit...in case you haven't heard the Resistance single yet, go listen to it.
Sounds like Marilyn Manson's Personal Jesus.
