My Experience:

I am a relatively new "The Sound Of Animals Fighting" fan.

But needless to say, I liked them from the first moment I heard them.

I was first introduced to them during a band practice. We were taking a break from all our hard work (I couldn't say that with a straight face if we were in person...thank god for the internet!) and then my Drummer Jet Crossley put them on the stereo.

I fell in love with them.

End of Story.

Noticeable Traits

  • Very High Energy
  • Sometimes very electronic and syntheized
  • Only made 3 albums, as a trilogy
  • The Band Mates Often Changed
  • Each Band mate has the name of an animal (Nightingale, Walrus, Lynx, Tiger)
  • Who does a key change in this day and age? (Blessings Be Your Mister V).
  • Only ever played a few live shows, during a single tour in August 2006.

Featured Band:

Gorillaz

Gorillaz is a super classic band, and for a good reason. With some of the best combinations of electronic music, featuring artists from Mos Def, to MF Doom, it's a really incredible band.

Their newest album, "The Fall", was even recording entirely on an iPad! I highly recommend they become an integral part to your music library, and I've been listening to them for the last month straight (Religiously).
