Another rock super group, comprised of:
A terrifying (in a good way) mix of fine artists. However, I share my same thoughts with my 'The Dead Weather' contribution. 'Testing the waters' debut, which definitely substantiates their musical persona/character, but lacks diversity & variation (& dynamic(s) range!!!). Having said that, these guys most definitely decided it to be that way to coincide with their image. A wicked band! With some great diamonds in the album. Predicting them to be a huge & formidable name for the future. P.S - I read your post in the Muse section, and the exact same thing happened to me! Adored Muse to death, but then my mind got blown to pieces by The Mars Volta, and they hold the crown. Andrew Says: Nice that you've experienced that as well. It was an interesting transition as I really wanted to hold on to them as a beloved band...but The Mars Volta were too much to handle! Thanks for the submission. |

James Blake is an Experimental Electronic artist from London. He was originally a producer, and a lot of his early EP's consist of only sampled vocals (Never his own voice).
